Being born in the lineage of Malayala Brahmanas belonging to Sri Sri AdiSankara, with Vasishta Gothram, Koundiniya Pravaram, Boudhayaniya Sutra, from the Muttam Kallampally family, Avoor Chenkilath Kallampally Illam, son of Late Easwaran Namboodiri and Savithri Antarjanam. He was initiated into the Thanthrika puja systems and Astrology by his father and grandfather through the hereditary system. His mother hails from Mankulam Illam at Thrikariyoor, he has two sons, who are also well versed in the puja systems. He has performed many Thanthika pujas and Prathistapanams, and Astrological services, removing the ill effects of planets, and various other religious pujas. He was blessed to be the Melsanthi at Sabarimala and also a Melsanthi at Malikapuram.
